| Satus commenced his OVAL career on March 25, 1984 at the age of 15months. The following are his Oval Racing statistics : |
| Satus ran his last oval meet on June 21, 1987. He only ran 4 meets in 1987 winning all of them. Satus compiled a record of running 47 oval meets with 39 FIRST places, 5 SECOND places and 3 THIRD places, for a total of 159 National Points. Satus never finished out of the first three, never was scratched or injured on the oval. Satus at the time of his retirement from racing was the all time #1 NPR and NOTRA Race whippet. (Satus is still the all time #1 NPR race whippet) |
| The TRIPLE CROWN was awarded to OVAL racing whippets that won races in any given year at three different distances, one of which must be on a rail lure track. If more than one whippet accomplished that, the whippet defeating the highest entries was declared "Triple Crown Winner" for that year. |
